The process:

  • Fill out the inquiry form with your contact info and a description of your garment idea. I’ll get back to you as soon as possible!

    If you have your measurements, include them—otherwise, they’ll be required to finalize the design. Accurate measurements ensure the best fit, so let me know if you need guidance.

    For custom pieces, mood boards, sketches, and fabric/color preferences are helpful.

    A $40 deposit (applied to your total) is required to start. More on pricing below.

  • A $40 deposit is required to request a custom. If I can’t fulfill your request within your timeframe (or for any other reason), you’ll receive a full refund.

    Intricate or smaller patchwork designs may cost more.

    After finalizing the design, I’ll provide a quote. Half is due upfront, and the rest is due upon completion before shipping.

    Prices vary based on details, but the ranges below offer a general idea—including the $40 deposit.

    General Pricing:

    - Patchwork Vest: $100-$250

    -Denim Jacket: $250+

    -Patchwork Pants/skirt: $100-$300 (price varies depending on length and volume)

    -Simple Patchwork Dress: $150-$250

    -Tiered/Gathered Patchwork Dress: $300+

    1. Inquiry – Submit your idea via the inquiry form.

    2. Concepts – I’ll respond with design ideas. For specific requests, I’ll create a proof for approval.

    3. Final Design – Choose and approve a design, or we refine it until it’s just right.

    4. Quote & Payment – I provide a quote based on materials and labor. Half is due upfront, and measurements are required to proceed.

    5. Creation – I sew your garment!

    6. Final Approval – I send photos. If adjustments are needed, we address them before the final payment.

    7. Shipping – Once paid, I ship your custom piece—shipping is free!

  • Custom pieces take at least 10 business days and can take a month or more to complete.

    Since I source materials secondhand, finding and preparing the right fabrics takes time. If you have a deadline, please mention it in your inquiry so I can plan accordingly.

    I do my best work when I can take my time and live with a piece for a bit. For truly special projects, I recommend reaching out at least a month in advance for the most thoughtful results.

  • Shipping is free with every order at Rain’s Reworks!

    If you are wanting expedited shipping, that may be available for a fee.
